Last month, I entered an erotica contest held by an adult toy store online.

It was one of those things. I was browsing the many adult blogs I read and found an announcement for a writing contest. The genre? Erotica.

Originally, I wanted to write something new. Everyone's seen my old stuff, right? But then I looked at the deadline and realized I had less than twenty-four hours to write a thousand words, edit it and send it in.

So... I cheated. But it's not cheating if they have a rule stating you can use an old one, right?

I grabbed one of my old stories, cleaned up the parts that have always bugged me and sent it in. And won third place! Isn't that just hella cool? I thought so.

There's another one for vampy erotica. The deadline's in October. I'm entering, I think. If anyone's interested, note me and I'll get you the details.
